In 2021 I got to work on a really exiting project at Cognite as a digital design consultant. The project was about creating a tool that would make it possible for energy manufacturers to make use of historical- and contemporary data, contextualise it, and have it contribute to better decision making.

The challenge
Cognite is a data-operations company working with major energy- and production clients. All these clients have one thing in common: they want to know more about the future, especially when it affects their uptime and production lines. I was part of the Vision-team, where we tried to use historic data to predict the future.
The solution
As a interaction- and product designer, my responsibility was to make sure the product met the users desired workflow, and to make sure the product fit into the rest of Cognite's product portfolio.
